Surrey PCCAbout this data
Names, wards, parties, photographs, roles and profile links come from the council's own member index, retrieved 3 September 2026. Photographs are served directly from the council's website and remain its copyright. Allowances are the published figures for 2025-26. The 2025-26 return was published on 6 August 2026 by J King, Chief Executive, under the Local Authority (Members' Allowances) (England) Regulations 2003. Councillors are not paid a salary. The basic allowance was £6,202.68 for every member; the differences are special responsibility payments for chairing a committee or leading a group, which reflect committee membership rather than attendance. Members' allowances were uplifted by 3% for 2026/27 in line with the staff pay award, so current entitlements are higher again. One of the 36 seats is vacant. Attendance figures are for the current municipal year to date and cover formal committee meetings only. They do not include ward work, surgeries, working groups or outside bodies, so a low count does not on its own mean a councillor is inactive.
